I find that the simplest things bring me the most joy.


Watching the sun set over the water.
At night right after the first snowfall. It seems so quite and peaceful.
Laying in the hamock on a beautiful spring day.
The gentle curves of a beautiful woman.
Sitting in front of a fireplace on a cold winters night.
Going to the gym and working up a sweat.
Staying home and working up a sweat.
Sleeping in on your day off.
Steaming hot showers.

The Sound of the Rain

My little niece when she visits me...her entire face lights up...I love that

A good book

Hearing an old-favorite song on the radio

The sound of his voice over the phone, makes the miles disappear

Waking up to snow ( like this morning)

The smell of coffee brewing in the morning while I am still in bed

Having my body worked into a frenzy, the kind that leaves me squirming all over the place...knees shaking...lips pouty..heart thumping...where my mind packs its bags and leaves town...
yeah I could use that right now...

Lots of stuff, here are a few...

My cat.

Snowy days when I can curl up with my cat in bed with a good book and a mug of hot cocoa.

Rainy nights, especially during a thunderstorm, curled up on the sofa with the lights off watching Alfred Hitchcock movies and eating popcorn.

Driving up to the mountains, walking through the forests and having a picnic with my friends.

Being around my little niece and nephew.

Chocolate.

Ice cream.

Looking out the window at the snow falling while lying in a heated waterbed with flannel sheets and a flannel-covered duvet and knowing I don't have to get up unless I want to. (I miss my waterbed!)
