Great idea for a thread. I'll name a few now and more later, too many to name all at once.
Wildrose. The first person to make me feel welcomed at Lit., such a sweet, caring, beautiful lady, a great friend, I truly love her.
Rain (Ashleigh). A true sweetheart, loving, tender and caring to a fault, a true princess.

This has been my favorite year and my least. To know your friendship and your love is something I could only have dreamed. I can't and I won't imagine my life without you. There are so many things that make you special to me. First, there was that meeting of the minds at the beach party. It was almost hypnotic, I had to go back for more, and more, and more... I remember looking back on those posts when you were here, and the way we smiled at the chemistry we shared. Then, there are the interests that we have in common. Music, the arts, and so much more. As I got to know you, I discovered what a good father you are, and respected you for your part in raising such a beautiful daughter.
I admire that you work hard, that you are a talented musician, and that you can be my pillar of strength when needed. I love that you are able to be open and honest, and share your emotions freely. I love the way that you feel in my arms, what an incredible feeling. I love that you give affection freely, and don't mind me sneaking a kiss any time that I like. I love holding your hand in public, and making out in the car like teenagers, lol!

LIT friends are special in a way that they are always THERE when you need a boost, or a laugh, or someone to just keep you company.
Putting feelings into words forms a bond that is unique, and there are so many for me here at LIT that have brought me out of a shell that I was trying to crawl into.
I'll venture to mention just a few of my earliest friends here who helped me in ways they might not even be aware of.
LADYBIRD... My first LIT friend in chat, and my favorite aussie! Her caring ways are so evident to so many of us. She has witnessed a lot of the change my life has taken, and is someone I hope someday to meet so I can HUG her in person!
TULIP2LIPSERVICE ... Another lady of LIT who offered much appreciated advice and support as Oman and I began our relationship. Hoping she will find the happiness and contentment that she wishes for others, and deserves for herself.
SHAMELESS FLIRT... My favorite LIT poet and fellow NYer. It wasn't a surprise that we both recognized each other immediately when we finally met during Oman's visit to NYC. His work was an inspiration for me to write again, and I'm thankful for his humor and his soul.
OMAHAMAN2... I didn't believe it was possible to fall in love the way I have with this wonderful man. The hours we spent online with each other allowed us to learn about each other in a way that might not have happened otherwise. My life is so full of love now that we're together, and I'll forever be thankful to the LIT forum that allowed us the freedom to be mushy both in chat and on the boards!
There are many others, and many new friends too. LIT seems to bring out the best in most of us.

ALWAYS AWAKE... There's a strong connection I have with him that I cannot quite explain. He was there to cheer Oman and I along our way, and is still a fan and a comfort to us both. I wish for him the very best, and always enjoy his posts. I feel we're fellow "oldies" who seem to enjoy a lot of the same music and growing up memories.
TONITITS ... She is another great supporter, and I know she is a special lady of LIT. Sharing her long distance love with her AA brings a kinship that I truly share, remembering all the hours, days and months that Oman and I were physically apart. She's an incredibly caring person, and I wish this couple all the best!
