What makes someone Kinky

I had a friend say to me "oh your so kinky and it turns me on". I did not think I was being overly kinky or anything special.

I am left wondering what really would be considered kinky. Is it just something that is completely different from the norm, or is there more to it.

"Kinky" is an attitude.

It's something different to each of us, and as such, it's can't be quantified or labelled neatly so everyone will recognize it when they see it.

"Kinky" depends on the people involved. For instance, for some people, tying their partners hands to the headboard with ties before they have sex might be almost unbearably kinky while to others, it might be almost commonplace. For some, being flogged with a toy designed to produce raised red welts is "kinky", for others it is horrifying.

Sex begins in the brain, always.
So does one's ideas of what constitutes "kinkiness".

If your idea of "kinky" is a pretty good match for your partner's, you have the chance of some really satisfying sex. If it's not a good match, then there's liable to be some disappointment for one or both of you in the offing.

Kinky is as kinky does.

To be honest, missionary sex - unbound, ungagged, unhooded, unfettered, unmarked - is fairly rare in my life and always has been. I was with my last Dom for more than a year before we ever did that.

Missionary position sex is a thing of rarity in my life and as such could be considered kinky. See? "Kinkiness" depends on one's attitudes and expectations.
