2 1/2 weeks until winter break and then off for 2 weeks.

Knowing my buddy will be back tomorrow and not at meetings. I really do miss him when he isn't in the classroom. I truly love working with him and we laugh every day.

Ordering a new dress for my friends Slova on the 19th. It is the celebration of my Serbian friend's patron saint. A big party with lots of people (around 75), food, homemade Rakia and dancing.

The house looks nice and festive.

Knowing tomorrow is an easy day and no cooking.
 
Getting to talk tonight certain someone I've been waiting all day to talk to and being called a good girl! :) made my day!
 
I got a new guitar today. It's lovely and reminded me of when I played with my dad. That made me smile. My youngest picking it up, strumming mindlessly, and making up a song about being afraid of bunny rabbits....broadened that smile
 
A lovely and encouraging PM from Black Cashmere - I truly adore that woman! (It also made me cry, but in a good way...)

Seeing the pictures my friend took of my kids a few weeks ago...SO FUCKING AMAZING. I smile because today I was feeling lost and overwhelmed, but then I see my beautiful kids and know that nothing else is important...
 
Fuzzy sweater shopping and finding a delightful new shade of red lipstick and a sexy pair of heels along the way....

BC can be so encouraging. But it's your own heart that keeps you going. Trust it. And having your kids for inspiration is a gift. Mine keep me focused too. Hug them tighter today. Just not in front of their friends. They hate that. :D
