Sunny, crispy morning, perfect for an early walk.

I got 2x10 points in På spåret (a quiz show) and guessed the correct cities before the contestants, which almost never happens and now twice in the same episode!

And I’m going to the ballet and dinner later today. It’s a fine, fine Saturday.

I did pretty well in the crossword competition, much better than I expected based on how I felt after the puzzles. Yay!

I wrote a poem in traditional Korean style (sijo) over in the poetry forum, about an old courtesan.

I also helped a friend here with a poem that she was trying to perfect. I don't know if it was what she exactly wanted, but I am happy that she was extremely pleased.

Sunshine, blue sky!!!

So far there’s been less than 20 minutes of sunshine in the entire month of December, so a sunny morning feels extra special.

Around Christmas my library wraps books and writes a little note for whom it might be a good match. You can then pick and check out a book with a note that appeals to you and at home you get to open the wrapper. I got Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin and it seems good!

It’s just like Christmas except better because you must return the book later so you don’t have to find a spot for it in your overflowing bookshelf.
