Sure is brutal! Many a nightmarish moment has been lived with the pic of guy running after a kid with big scissors trying to cut the thumbs and the story about the kid burning alive.
The olden time fairy tales just were a little different.
It would have been nice to meet you, but schedules are what they are. Hopefully another time!
Instead, I went to a dinner with J and his friends. It was fun and we ended up hanging out with some local retirees for a while as well after they approached us and asked about what language we were speaking.

I finally slept well last night. It’s been such mayhem at work and in life in general that I kind of stopped sleeping for a moment there. I can finally feel I’m starting to relax, and still over a week of vacation left.
Making tentative travel plans for 2025 has been very smile worthy as well.

Shoe prints and deer hoof prints.
The small beer I made turned out really good, it just took a little longer than usual to brew. I don’t usually even like small beer, but I make it somewhat regularly, because J likes it. But this batch turned out super tasty!
