Just to keep the peace and harmony????

I told my Uncle his beer gut wasn't REALLY that big when he asked me...

As for my lie - I kindly told someone that I liked their present, when it was something that was completely opposite of my tastes. Was still appreciated though! lol

When the rugrat started to get a little naughty, I told her Santa was already taking notes for next year.

She appealed to Mom.

Who upheld my argument.

I told someone I would by myself shoes with the money they sent, when I actually bought a bottle of Bailys with it.

Did it help your toe ?

Told someone I love that nothing was wrong. He saw right through me. And I cried.

Ehhh...I told my Pops I was just peachy when he called me. If the man knew how I really felt we'd both be crying on the phone.

I said it wasn't a big deal when nobody gave me the book I wanted (The Face Of The Tiger by internationally syndicated conservative columnist Mark Steyn) and I didn't get a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble or anything to purchase it myself with.

I also got a TV, but not a VCR or DVD player, which wouldn't upset me, except I got five videos (Spider-Man, Multiplicity, and the Back To The Future trilogy).

I told someone that someone else told me I should introduce myself to them and then introduced myself.

It was pretty casual.

I told everyone.........

That I had a dinner or some kind of function to go to when I didn't. I just didn't want a pity invitation, or to walk in once a year and say, "howdy". :D

I told my aunt the sweater she got me was wonderful and fit perfectly.

Not so, but after I wash it and tug on it a bit, it will fit nicely and look better.
