What kind of knowledge does it take to "create a computer virus?"

For virus creation.

Programs needed can reange anywears from:

harmless virus {pranks with mo damage}:
Qbasic
GWBasic{no it wasn't created by the President}
BasicA
BasicB
BasicC
and others

Danagerous virus {from shutting off puter to formatting hardrives}:

VisualBasic 1-6
C++
Delphi
and others

No college/university education is needed. There are plenty of lesons on the internet to teach to how to prgram in these various programs. also a good hexeditor in which you can download a quarintined virus and edit it for your pleasure before distributing it. Again no college education is needed to hexedit, there are plenty of tutorials on the net.

By the way I don't know how to make viruses. though I did try making games with the same programs, swhich can show just like dynamite created for one purpose cna be used for others.

I have some experiences with viruses, 4 years of computer experience along with being Network and A+ certified and currently in an CNA class. I am only 16... From my experience I can tell you the one thing you need in order to make a computer virus, curiousity.
