What kind of covers would you use if Lit. supported covers?

I wrote a 100 word story to publish and they needed a cover even for that.

The story:


A Mother's Secret Pumpkin
"It's full of Pumpkin Seed"

After my husband died, I thought I would never find love again. I did eventually – from his brother. Our shared grief turned into mutual comfort, fondness… then… lust.

The sex fills me with shame, but I can’t stop.

Yesterday evening, I had to sit on his lap during a hayride, and he… toyed with me. Even with family nearby. I’m afraid my daughter might have seen.

“What was Uncle Dave doing with his hand yesterday?” Vanessa asks, innocently.

“He was just messing with my Pumpkin.” I point to the jack-o’-lantern.

“Pumpkin?” she muses. “That’s a unique name for your cunt.”

I make covers for the stories I advertise on Twitter and for those I bother making an ebook version for. I use free stock photos and power point. By no means do they follow proper industry formats. I do them for fun. I adore stylized, campy, pulpy, retro covers.

A secret.

I wasn't fully accurate - most of my covers (7 and counting) use my own photos, but I have used a CC pic and a scan of an out-of-copyright map as well. All the layout is Adobe enabled.

Unfortunately, I know just enough about Photoshop to know I'd drown in there. I am a graphic neophyte.

I used an open-source AI called Easy Diffusion for the picture and Canva for text and graphics. It blows me away how close these pics can look like the real thing. This is a freebie promo, so I didn't want to spend money on someone to design the cover.
