When I lived in Germany one of my friends had a pair of cats that were absolutely beautiful. These cats were mainly black with tan highlights. It's fur was highly glossy, almost like oil. They were also very talkative.

I was told they were Siamese but I can't find any pictures of Siamese cats like this any where.

Does anyone here have any idea what kind of cats these would be?

I can't think what it could be - sounds downright gorgeous though.

The only thing I can think of would be a sable Burmese, they're very dark brown though.

I once had a very long haired calico for a few years, she looked a lot like what you described. I always thought she might have been part Siamese though... maybe or maybe not.

Are those chocolate point Siamese?

They can be, in a slightly less raucous manner. They are affection whores, absolutely adore people.

Never had to deal with one in heat (thank god), most of mine have been boys and all have been desexed. But they certainly let you know when they want something and when the service isn't up to scratch!

I've had four Burmese over the years, and they're all nutters.
