What kind of bed do I prefer?

One that has beautiful woman with an imagination just as dirty as mine.

King size, waveless waterbed.
Soft flannel sheets.
Lots of big pillows.
Since it is getting cool at night, a nice down comforter.
And did I say a beautiful woman next to me?
(Might not need that comforter after all.) ;)

I like a very firm California king bed, with a pillow top. 350-count sateen sheets (not satin), freshly laundered. Several very good, pillows - I like a soft feather pillow on top of a firmer pillow for under my head, a firm body pillow to hug and another feather pillow for on top of my head. One or two good cotton blankets and a heavy comforter. I don't like the heater on when I sleep unless it gets below 50 degrees in the house.

Yes, that's exactly what I have.

And my husband calls me a princess. Sheesh! ;)

I don't know I"ve only ever slept in one bed. No that is not a joke or an understatement.... The bed I have now is the same bed I got when 4 years old. :) Hay I like it lol

Is your mattress extra firm? hard? soft? or just right?

Yes mattress has changed.. I like the soft matresses best but they hurt my back. Firm are better for it but uncomfterble... Sooooo I have a semi soft one

Lots of blankets? pillows?

3 pillows One for my head one for my knee and one for my teddy bear

King size? Queen? Full???

Bunk Bed.

Do you have an electric blanket?

Nope

What about sheets? Flannel? Satin? Cotton?

Cotton sheets, but I have Flannel blankets and Undies :)
Cotten is comfterbel and warm.

Ahhhh. Who can resist a man who gives his teddy a pillow?

Not me. :)

He deserves that pillow :) It's a special teddy.
My meme gave it to me the day I was born when she died it was like a part of her went into it.
Always protects me, he is my equivilent to an indian dream catcher so always stays on my bed.

I do not have the perfect bed yet. The one I have is a good one as it is the bed my Grandfather passed away in. I will never discard it.
My ideal bed is huge, hewn from rough timber, large bedposts, an equally large headboard. Covered thick in comforters, flannel sheets, and a fur bedspread. I have a picture of it in my head, and when the time is right, I will get it.:D

No. *sob* Stupid dorms. Stupid, stupid dorms.;)

Is your mattress extra firm? hard? soft? or just right?
My ideal is somewhere in between. I vow to find it. If that means testing every mattress in the world with a few rounds of nekkid twister, then by God, I will.

Lots of blankets? pillows?
Lots? Ha! Try gazillions. At least.

King size? Queen? Full???
Doesn't really matter. We better be sleeping thisclose anyways. Although queen or larger would be nice in case we fall asleep sideways once in a while. Hey. It could happen.

Do you have an electric blanket?
No. Christmas is coming up, though. You buying?;)

What about sheets? Flannel? Satin? Cotton?
Yes. Oh, umm...Cotton? Sure thing. Flannel? I LOVE flannel pillowcases...so cozy. Mmmm... Satin? I'm always up for something new. Perverts! Sheesh. Alright, almost always up for something new.

That's so sweet, Fly. Is meme your grandma? My twin girls, now age 2-1/2, used to call me Meme. I hated when they gave it up for mommy.

bed schmed ..

Who cares as long as I've got good company in it???

C'mon people ... priorities here!

Meme Pepe pronounced Mim-eh and Pip-eh

Grandma and Grandpa in french
they teach you in school it's Grandmare and Grandpare (haveever it's spelt) but that's actualy Grandmother and Grandfather.

I grew up with those words so I forget sometimes when i'm talking to others hehe.

Yep, I have my perfect bed. extra-firm pillowtop (for my not-so-young-anymore back) mattress, flannel sheets and flannel comforter (c'mon, it's COLD in Ohio! :) ), and lots and lots of pillows!

See image below

Is your mattress extra firm? hard? soft? or just right?
It is tunable; the mattress has water tubes in it that can be tuned to firm, medium or soft. Even at its firmest it is not very firm though. I prefer the firm side (I have a firm and soft side). I don't like my beds too firm; I want some conformation or my soulders hurt and I can't get comfortable.

Lots of blankets? pillows?
Sheets, a blanket and a comforter. Just a couple neck pillows. I do have abody pillow, but it is a hassle when I turn so I don't use it.

King size? Queen? Full???
Are you kidding? I am 6'6" tall - King of course

Do you have an electric blanket?
Don't need one - although it would be nice to warm up the bed before hopping in.

What about sheets? Flannel? Satin? Cotton?
Sateen Cotton - I toss and turn a lot and I don't like the friction of flannel.

Doh! *smacks head*

I've been alone in my bed too long!

not quite perfect

I've a queensized, in a room meant for a much larger bed - but when I got it there was no way to consider a King, so for now it suffices. The sheets are always cotton, not flannel or satin, some with very high thread counts.

I like the weight of blankets in the cooler months, and I like the room itself cool while sleeping and while I have an electric blanket somewhere I don't know that I could find the cord. *LOL* I never use it, but somebody thought it was a useful gift on the heels of my divorce some years ago now...

I could use more pillows, I suppose, but since I have them all to myself it seems pointless. It's firm, and inviting, but underpopulated....

I have a king size waterbed. It's perfect for me.

I have a total of 9 pillows. Two of them I have had for almost 20 years and they go where I go. I share them with noone. (Well, my nephew did sleep on one of them this weekend, it's proof of how much I love him.)

I have one comforter to cover up with and cotton sheets year round.

What is your ideal bed? Do you have it? One where my feet don't hang off the edge.. not hard to do at 5'4" tall. Don't care too much for a head/footboard, but I like the oak style ones, nothing too bulky.

Is your mattress extra firm? hard? soft? or just right? ideal.. soft

Lots of blankets? pillows?lots of pillows.. a few blankets.. and a really thick, soft comforter.

King size? Queen? Full??? the middle sized one of the lot would be fine.

Do you have an electric blanket? yes

What about sheets? Flannel? Satin? Cotton? doesn't matter

I have a hard, old, full sized bed.. but for now, I sleep on a 15 year old couch w/ a blanket.
