Everyone I've ever spoken to about their dreams says they have always had atleast one recurring dream if not more.

What is your recurring dream?

Flipside...

Do you have a recurring nightmare?

Curious.

I have psychotic recurring dreams. Too crazy to even make sense of them. And I can't mention names either. Don't want to incriminate anyone involved. These dreams started happening ever since I went to the dark side with Storm.

its not so much recurring dreams as i have a dreamscape where various events take place...i can even sketch out a sort of surreal map. theres a scool that stands by itself that has a bus that takes me to a mall of sorts that has a video arcade and a bookstore and conveyor belts for floors. theres also a room that leads to a forest with a glass skyscraper that is that has a rope bridge connecting the door to the skyscraper with a rope bridge as you have to walk through the tree tops and theres also a steam room of sorts that leads you back to the school. i don't havethe same dream over and over again but different dreams that take plkace in these locations.

I know about your dreams...who do you think was inspiration for the thread...well that and my very own recurring dreams...but I know the reason behind mine...ooh I sooo know what is behind mine! But a gal can dream! :)

No one remembers all their dreams, few remember more than a third.

Soooooooo. In keeping with this comment is it not feasible that you just don't remember YOUR recurring dreams??

It fits. Very interesting...We'll have to get you on Dr. Calypso's couch for some dream analysis.

You read my mind and can see my dreams. Sheesh! Nothings sacred anymore.

Do you really want to employ that kind of logic in this thread?

I was in a chat with a friend earlier who is teaching me how to shut that off when I need to. I explained ot her that I saw some rather intimate hmm...displays of affection and really would love to discover the on off switch! Soooo...we shall see if what she said works or not.

I to have found the same when talking to many whom seek to understand their dreams. As far as recurring dreams there was one several times. And with regards to nightmares, the last one had was in very early childhood.. since that experience, I havent had one since.

Hearts blessings with wonderful dreams wished to all :)

Interesting that you say this...I'm curious to know how many people have those terrifying nightmares one often has as a child.

I too haven't had any in a very very long time.

I keep dreaming that I win Daytona but not in my Truck in a car

I'm not a HUGE racing fan but your dream has me confused...isn't the race you are referring to a car race and not a truck race?

I have about 2 weeks before the race I dreamed that my truck hit the wall

guess what I did hit the wall in the race

I had a recurring dream dating back as long as I can remember, up until a couple of years ago.

In the dream I was a child on a school fieldtrip. (for lack of a better word) There was a woman I knew was the teacher and about a dozen other kids. Everyone dressed in early 1900's clothing. We were at a water mill, the kind with water steps leading away from the mill, and a little stone ledge/bridge leading across. The dream always ended with my slipping in and drowning.

About two years ago I visited the area my grandparents and thier parents (dating back about 5 generations) had lived in. While visiting an area park I was shocked to find an old watermill identical to the one that was always in my dreams.

I haven't had the dream since.

Very cool. I could tell you tons about this. ;)

I have a recurring dream that occurs every year in late January. The dream is about a race in which my sister and I are entered. It goes the same way everytime - we have to pass certain points, make decisions, work together, and at the end, we win.

All in all, not a bad dream.
