I'm somewhere between 6'4" and 5" depending on who's doing the measuring...and to be honest - when meeting people either male or female their height never even comes into my thought process. I suppose that is because it's rare that I run into someone significantly taller than me.

I will say, however.....that it is my experience that the shorter the woman, the better the sex seems to be.

*(For the record - I'm totally willing to let you tall chicks disprove my theory)

I won't date short guys. Anything under 5'7" is too short.

Some of us are tall. Some of us have had bad experiences with shorter guys and their issues of dating someone taller....

I prefer to have someone taller than I am.

You may have got me washing the car but I have to disagree with you on this. How often do you see a woman with a man shorter than her? There are exceptions of course, but generally the man is taller.

Men shorter than me would be damn near midgets and usually have short man syndrome. Speaking of short man syndrome, I bet real money mansome is shorter than 5'8".

I am fairly tall and if I wear 3" heels that puts me at 5'10", and I love to wear heels, so I like to be with a taller man so I don't feel like an amazon.

I prefer a guy to be taller than me, but I'm not sue if it's purely a height thing. Short men all seem to be obnoxious smart asses trying to make up for their lack of height with a big mouth. A confident short guy might be even more attractive than his taller counterpart, because he's had to overcome his disadvantage...but being rich helps.

some of the luckiest men i've known have only been my height. 5'6".
i see tall girls with short guys regularly.
but, personally, dating a guy shorter than i am would make me feel less girly...and i like feeling girly.

I'm 6'4". I met a girl who was 6'1" tall and fell madly in lust.
Took her out to an expensive French restaurant, we're walking through the restaurant foyer and she's wobbling pretty badly....I thought she was drunk.

Well, I will add my two cents. I am a short guy, how short? I am only 3.7 feet tall. I am a dwarf and some woman are fine with it and some are not. A lot has to do with attitude and confidence. The tallest girl that I dated was 6.9, she was an ex-basketball player from Brazil. I have to admit that usually height does not bother me and I do not feel short, but I did felt short being with her. The shortest girl I dated was about 3.6. It was nice looking into her eyes without looking up. A lot really has to do with confidence and attitude. Mostly I have dated average size women. My current girlfriend is only 5 feet tall and she is incredible.

Apparently, I have never had to deal with the rejection you faced in your life, so I escaped suffering your insecurities.

well other than society saying "tall men are desirable" , my only thought is the security thing. Women like to feel protected and secure, and those women that are taller than you might just not feel that.
Of course preference comes into it, but i do think there is a biological basis too.
Me? Im a staggering 5'1, so I dont mind short guys at all. Doesnt take away from the tall guys that hit on me because they 'just loooove short girls'
