It's the warm weather...clothes are getting smaller, and we're spending more time out of them!

How do nails get clipped in a natural environment?
When they're USED for their INTENDED PURPOSE. i.e. causing harm, or whittling instruments, etc. Just look at what your cat does to his/her claws, if you have one.

And if they don't wear down, it's a primeval instinct to bite/pick them.

I honestly don't care either way--but what is with these peeps who make posts that either assume that all women shave all hair not on their scalps, or who talk about hair being icky.

Hey, newsflash--it's SUPOSSED TO BE THERE. Evolution: nothing without purpose!

In nature, teeth rot and fall out. Yet most of us brush our teeth. It's called personal maintenance.

Some women have evolved beyond the cavewoman look.

But they don't get CLIPPED.

So, let's see... you don't shave, clip your nails, get your hair cut unless you're donating it, nor do anything else to maintain yourself. I'm sure you're a real keeper.

Actually, the bacterium that causes tooth decay is a mutant strain that developed only recently. It used to regulate its reproduction, so that it wouldn't damage beyond the enamel. After all, if the tooth went splat and fell out, the bacteria would die! lol

Because trimmed or shaved is absolutely perfect. If you love going down on a woman as I do. :p:p:p

clip your nails,
I do clip my nails, to compensate for natural clipping that we no longer get from the primitive activity that has long since left human life.

get your hair cut unless you're donating it,
Locks of Love :D

nor do anything else to maintain yourself.
That's quite a stretch. I shower at LEAST once a month :p

Actually, tooth decay came about once sugar started to be refined. Prior to this, sugars were encountered naturally in foods, so tooth decay was a minimal problem in society.

The big moment in tooth decay history came when Coca Cola was invented (seriously).

Actually I think you meant -- it's SUPOSSED TO BE THERE. Divine Creation: nothing without purpose.

Evolution on the other hand leaves us jam packed full of crap we don't need.

The normal example is the appendix, but I nominate ass hair.

Ass hair traps smells which lead us to mates; help determine pack status hierarchy etc.

A woman should look like a woman... not be all hairy like a man.

Besides, I sure as hell don't want to go down on a woman and wind up with a mouth full of hair... Gross... :p

Well, I'm just going to address the pubic hair thing, but personally I think it's the influence of pornography.

It's a personal choice whether to keep hair or remove it down there, but it does annoy me that some people on this board will use terms like gross, disgusting, ugly etc to describe a woman with pubic hair. I think it's a very sorry state of affairs when society is such that the natural state of the human body provokes revulsion reactions. I have heard similar comments about foreskins from women that are used to circumcised penises.

I choose to keep my pubic hair. It's been suggested that that is cleaner to be hairless. I'm certainly not dirty. Indeed the hair is presumably there to protect the area from nasties, in a similar way to eyelashes, eyebrows and nasal hair. As long as someone maintains personal hygiene though, hair is not an issue of cleanliness. And I've never found having pubic hair to be itchy, but I have heard vast numbers of people talk about the itchiness and rashes that can follow hair removal or the itchiness of regrowth or ingrowing hair.

As I say, it's a personal choice, but I just think it's sad that having pubic hair is seen as disgusting or dirty or primitive.

You're quite right. I'm frequently mistaken for a man because I don't shave my pubic hair.

Thank you for taking up the cause of women who prefer a natural look to their womanliness. The popularity of shaving has now become a style or a fad among women who are willing to display their flowers. As a long time patron of strip joints, it does seem like the move from the natural look to the shaved look occurred in a matter of months. Once it took hold, it really became the style.

My theory has been that it has something to do with our youth obsessed society. I suppose I am also suggesting that there is a kiddie porn element to this fad. I am sure that another element is that it is possible for a stripper to display her wares in a fashion that makes it more visible to the customer.

I agree that this should be a matter of personal choice. As for my personal taste, I much prefer a full, natural bush. As I have implied above, my initial reaction when I started to see shaved pussies was that they look like little girls. Now that I have seen more of them in that style, particularly the posts here that display aroused clits, I do not have quite that much of a reaction in that fashion, but it still seems artificial to me.

A full, natural bush, on the other hand, tells me, "This is a woman. Not a girl." And I am much more turned on by a woman. I'm not interested in "girls." A natural pussy just seems so much more powerful. I wish there were more pics posted of women with that look.

So, I just wanted to weigh in on your side of this debate.

No. If something is unnecessary (i.e. it is not beneficial to survival) it will not necessarily be eiliminated. Only when it is detrimental to survival will it likely be eliminated. If a trait is neither beneficial nor detrimental it isn't necessarily kept or eliminated either way. The appendix for example is essentially superfluous, but it doesn't inhibit survival for the most part, so it still exists (albeit in vestigial form).

Shy shaved

If you want me to lick it and kiss it and...... 'eat' it - shave it/trim it - - I trim my pubes for you so you do not get hairballs - please trim or shave for me ;)

I've seen enough of your pic thread to know that that is not likely.
You are stunning
although I don't think I've seen that natural womanliness that I just praised.
I admit I haven't perused all 240 pages.

I had decided not to go off on this one because it's late and I need to go to bed :D So I'll just say that I agree with you, and I think the hairlessness thing is part of a general infantilisation of women. If, as has been suggested, a woman with hair looks like a man, does not a woman without hair resemble a pre pubescent child?

I think the removal of hair within the sex industry probably began as a practical thing, in that it is easier for people to see the 'action' if there is no hair to obscure the view. This then became internalised by many as a prototype of sexual attractiveness.

Ok, go to bed SnS! :)
