what is something you make that you love

I make music.........when the band is hot and grooving and the audience is having a great time and singing along........not a drug around will touch that high !!

Quilts. There's something about making a quilt and knowing it's going to keep someone warm and help them feel loved. Its a tangible way to say "I love you"

I make (tie) all the flies I fish with. It's satisfying in its own right to make something pleasing at the bench, but even more so when it works on the water. I build fly rods, too when I have the time and money. I like that it's kind of hard and painstaking; makes the finished product something to appreciate.

And I cook risotto. That's not especially hard, but I like the way the right combination of a few simple but well chosen ingredients can create a dish with soul.
