Yes, I know, I ask the tough questions ;)

So, what IS most important to you? Money? Influence? Love? Respect?

For me, I would have to say that the most important thing in my life is the sense, the idea, the knowledge, that I am needed. Either by a few, or by many, I love the fact that there are people who look to me for guidance, support, encouragement, even love.

How about you?

That I made a difference in someone's life - made it better - even it's just one person. That's why I do the Pine Ridge stuff. I don't even care if they know my name, I just want to know I made a difference.

Seeing my loved ones happy and if I'm the cause, it'd even be better. :D

Bel's children, (namely the ones I plan to bear him:D)

in all honesty, its achieving something of meaning.

Similar to others...to know that my love makes a difference in someone's life. That, and knowing that I'm worthy of being loved in return.

It's kind of odd...I used to really enjoy being needed. But I have since discovered that I'd rather be wanted instead of needed. But that's just me.

I have discovered a desire to be wanted as more than just a sex object too. I want to be wanted for conversation and fun too.

To simplicity and honesty, we make this toast. *raising my apple juice glass*

You had better lay off that apple juice, it appears you're turning green...

What's important to me...that quantum physics works...I don't want my bed disembobulating in the middle of the night with me in it...

I have to feel chastised by this . . .

I had a conversation the other night with a dear friend about 'want' and 'need.' It is far p[referrable to be wanted than needed, yet neither is without its finer points.

To be needed implies that someone or something cannot exist without you.

To be wanted implies that someone or something would rather not BE without you.

To be the focal point of another person or item's existence is a heavy cross to bear.

I would have to agree, SG, I'd rather be wanted than needed.

To know that My life had a purpose. That by sharing what I have learned with someone, I can help them to find ways to help themselves. Simple, yet complex all in one. I want to make a difference, otherwise, it would feel as if My life was a failure.

there is so much that is important to me that for me to choose just one, would deminish the rest.

im rather selfish in this line of thinking. maybe a better question, or one that wouldnt carry an obvious answer would be, "What is important to you, outside of family and friends?"

well, fuck, maybe that isnt a better question afterall. LOL.

got me thinking. this could be dangerous.

Wow, what a question for a morning like this. I guess my god daughter. But I am now separated from her by a long distance and my role in her life has become lessened over the past couple of years.

Other than that...nothing. I understand fully and completely accept the fact that for the last several years I have been merely exsisting. Not really living but taking up space and just getting through the day to do it all again tomorrow.

Sorry for the "cheery attitude" so early in the morning, but its the truth. I really don't give a flying fuck about much of anything. But who knows, maybe that will change. Never say never.

Many things are important to me.

My kids. My family. My friends.

Feeling safe, desired, cherished, protected.

Feeling important, useful, wanted, needed.

It is important to me to be helpful, wise in my words, comforting with my thoughts, compassionate.

It is important to me to be a good friend, daughter, sister, wife, lover  .

Not feel like a disappointment or a failure and to not hurt those that are important to me.

Security
in my future is important to me - I never thought I would have to worry about that, but I am now. I have discovered that not knowing the expected future I once knew, is frightening but exhilarating at the same time.

I agree. Being wanted is MUCH more fulfilling.
