Why does it come across as considering itself superior over other States?

What's with the arrogance?

Is there any justification for it?

Or is it because the State starred in so many Western movies that it finally became a drama queen?

:D

Probably because Texas was its own nation prior to joining the Union and they had some bad ass mother humpers way back when.

Buncha whiney pansies now, though.

Can I stalk you, spin? I've got a short attention span so you'll have to remind me on a semi-regular basis.

Yes, they used to be a separate nation, like Great Britian.:p

Many of the BAs KM mentioned came from South Carolina--they fought to set the foundation of a racist nation. Now it is 25million strong, dominates 285million here and 6billion abroad. Sam Houston considered fighting them when Abe offered assistance--sometimes sentiment gets in the way.
