When someone from here talks with me, one of the first things they say is, I thought you'd have some "sexy" accent or something.
Well, sorry to disappoint ya, but I've since lost any accent I had before moving to the U.S. full time 19 years ago.
I don't mind hearing, "I like your voice", blah blah blah... But for some reason I feel like they feel they've been let down because there's no accent there.
I like accents, don't get me wrong, but is expecting someone to have an accent because of their nationality, expecting too much?
