Just got back from 5 days of skiing and Gambling in Tahoe. The snow was ice and slush but still good times.

Was out there for the a Wounded Warriors event. Being at the the top of a black run and thinking it is too much in the ice conditions, only to have a guy with no legs call you a pussy and take off is a humbling experience.

been doing more in the bathroom - tomorrow i plan on painting the ceiling in there

the water for about 50 houses (including mine) has been declared unfit for consumption/washing/cooking as they investigate the problem, and we have bottled water and a stand-pipe. minimum 48 hours, could be longer; they'll let us know.

the weather's still grey and cold, but is due to change this weekend, with May being predicted 'a scorcher'. time will tell.

no computer in work, it's broken and being repaired, some of the staff off due to normal family commitments over the break, and the boss is on holiday - just as everyone and his mother has decided to clear out their attic/garage/cupboards.

The garden produced its first potato today. Discovered a new way to grow sweet potatoes minus the toil and trouble of making slips. The 2nd crop of green beans sprouted. The lemons are swelling. And my Roubini economics book arrived in the mail.

Planning a vacation for early May to the Caribbean, not sure which island to try this time.

easter break - the schools are out for two weeks. thanks, yeah, it'll be a pain in the arse but doable - not the gloss painting, though, that can wait, just the emulsion. i'll probably end up throwing out the brushes/roller rather than have all the hassle of getting them clean, but we might be in luck and have the water ok'd by then. who knows?

Lots of medical/specialist appointments for my son.
Mum flew from across the country to be with us for 2 weeks - lovely to have her, despite the fact she's driving me slowly insane!
Changed teams for the V8 supercars (soon to race in Austin!) because I simply MUST support the first female team owner ever.
Experiencing the start of the cooler weather, finally. It has been a very hot summer, so this is a welcome change.

seriously considering fucking my neighbors wife. he offered her to me last year. but i'm not going to their house. she's gonna have to come here. i always leave my bedroom door unlocked. the one that goes outside.
got another horse. had to shoot the last one last november after he broke his leg.
planted onions and greens last month and then it snowed twice since then. nothing has come up. it is now in the 70's F.
in the last few months i ceased all contact with many family members. mostly the nutjobs on my mothers side.
