What is "essential?"

Why not?

It's same dumb argument that if you give a citizen a brief training course, a gun and a badge you are less worried than a citizen with more training, a better gun, and no badge.

What makes a person picking your produce from the produce department at a big chain store better at it than anyone who has ever selected produce for themelves? It ain't Sean-level rocket-surgery malpractice law.

I dont think much of your intelligence or judgement, but I bet you could pick me out a nice, fine ripened tomato from a basket of viine ripened tomatoes picked that morning by the guy that grew them.

The level of stupid that some people exhibit here is disturbing when one considers that at least SOME of them have positions of authority over others, even if that's nothing more than being a parent.

Why is the Uber driver more of a risk in infecting you than the produce guy at the supermarket? Or more "contagious" than the conveyor belt at the checkout stand? Or less sanitary than your own kitchen for that matter? Hell, hasn't anyone heard about how NASTY beards are with germs and bacteria?

Yet, the Uber driver is going to kill you because he picked out fresh produce at the farmer's market.

It absolutely boggles the mind how much stupid there is in this place.

Every dopey American thinks they are essential and what they do is the most important thing above everyone else. Hmm, if you don't like being part of our country you have a choice, your free to leave if you don't like it. If your a patriot, it isn't singular. Being a patriot is plural.

Not quite sure how to read this.

Do you mean that to be a "patriotic American" it is encumbant on you to bend the knee to whatever whim some politician orders?

It also seems that being a "patriot" is somehow restricted to some group. Who gets to decide which group(s) are "patriots?"

Also from your opening sentence you seem to diminish individualism. In favor of what, collectivism? Let me assure you that if you cannot, or will not, support freedom and liberty for EVERY individual then most assuredly the day will come when NO ONE will enjoy freedom and liberty.

Every dopey bureaucrat in the Soviet Union thought they knew best who and what was essential instead of the market itself. We all know how that turned out.

Why not? Because the people picking fruits and vegetables at the grocery store are most likely from the grocery department and aren't fillng their tanks and changing their oil in their off time, that's why.
As far as my intelligence guess, don't worry, I would never get into that battle with you given how terribly unarmed you are.

Food ,drink and sex and whatever it takes to accomplish that!

As I've said more than once. Every private sector job or business is essential to someone or it wouldn't exist. But the left likes to pick winners and losers and care nothing for the harm they do in the process.

But that's absolutely false. Nobody NEEDS video games and they certainly don't need a store that does nothing but sell video games when there is Walmart.

Nobody NEEDS a hair cut from a professional. We might look fugly but people got by for thousands of years with "This shits in my eyes, its got to go"

Nobody NEEDS a manicure or pedicure.

Nobody NEEDS dry cleaning.

Nobody NEEDS fine dining

The list goes on and on.

You're right. Nobody NEEDS any of that. Unless they're the business owner trying to feed their families.

But hey, fuck 'em if they ain't related to Bezos or the Waltons. Right?

Three of the four Sean listed have the potential to be most dangerous for spreading the disease. I'm okay with that although the wife is losing her mind having to do all of her fanciness herself for herself.

So a software programmer, a barber, pedicurist, cleaner, and a restaurant owner, needs no income and has no right to exist. Is your name Pol Pot?

If you think about it.....I guess we don’t need anything....in his communist utopia.....

Software programmers can work at home. The others are Petri dishes for viruses and diseases even before COVID-19. The closest thing to Pol Pot for America is Trump.

We don’t need software programmers.
They program software for businesses, and you pretty well said we don’t need any of those nasty virus spreading people of that kind.

This would read better if it was in English.

You misspelled "Cuomo."

Trump never ordered nursing homes to accept patients infected with Covod 19, nor did he have anything to do with the killing fields of the unsanitized subways.

No, I didn't.

No, just type in English, that's all.

Sorry you have limited comprehension skills.

I suggest some good old fashioned schoolin’.
That would require some learnin’ On your part, but I suppose You figure we don’t need teachers either.

:)
