I don't think it is acceptable. His memories have to start when he turns 18.

You can do it, but I would avoid direct ages.
In other words I wouldn't say "Back when I was twelve" even if you're not talking anything sexual the editor here only has time for quick skims and that may get you the boot.
If you state he's 35 go with something like 20 years ago I.... but I would still avoid any real sexual details.

The story is probably dead.
Unfortunately, my story mentions not only a specific age but specific acts so, I guess it will not be possible to post it here. These descriptions are necessary for the reader to understand the climate and mindset of the near East where these things are acceptable. There are other sites where I can post it.

The site is 100% clear; no description of sexual encounters before the age of !8 is permitted. Reflecting on childhood sexual experiences would contravene this.
Adolescent love and romance seems to be OK as long as nothing untoward happens.
