and hope that all your desires and hopes come into your life


the smell that always makes me remember

the holiday dinner thankgiving , the turkey , and fixings

when the entire family would get together, miss
my family only four of us leftbut we've gone our own
ways, i try to get us together but never happens.

wwho would read my mind

that would have to be my LOVER , so she could read my fears , and worries, and passions and hopefully understand the things that im going through, sometimes its hard to explain your every feeling then your not sure your self.

what makes me smile

the thing that makes me smile is knowing the i have made someone else smile and feel good, if people would say just a few kind words to the people they meet things might be different .
so next time tell someone they look nice or they theyhave a beautiful smile because you never know when soemthing might happen and they are gone, and spread some happinessand cheer your not going to hurt anyone and you might just feel better your self .

1. There's a musty, mildewy, mothbally smell that I associate with my grandmother - who died in 1986 - way too early. She lived in the deep south, in an old house, and everything had that smell. It doesn't sound that great - but it's actually a very comforting smell.

2. Someone named E. - he needs to hear the bad ones and the good.

3. Correspondence from far-away friends.

Outside my house growing up grew wild mint.... that smell reminds me of home.... and here's a disgusting one for ya.... the smell of skunk - I don't like it, but that too reminds me of home because there was always a skunk somewhere close to our house growing up.... oh, the stories my dad tells of getting rid of them....

2. Well, NOT my H - boy would I be in trouble - LOL! Probably my sister.... we live 4 hours away so it'd be nice to communicate that way

3. Making someone else smile... I love to laugh....

Good because I was worried it'd sound weird, the whole skunk thing... but one can not help what smells remind them of home... lol. You know, I have heard that a person is less likely to just remember something, but if there is one of the senses attached, especially smell, you are much more likely to remember....

Good morning, cookiejar! I was reading some of the posts from the other day in one of your threads, maybe it was this one, and it mentioned that you weren't feeling well. I hope this finds you on the mend and feeling much better.

If you had to pick the worst teacher from your childhood , who would win the prize?

**There is no contest here...my 9th grade Algebra teacher, Mr. M. He was just awful. There were so many of us who tried to leave his class only to be told that all of the other classes were filled. For the rest of the year, we suffered in silence and prayed for summer break. It was the worst school year I've ever had because of him.

If you could make one thing come true for a friend , what would it be , and for whom?

**I have a dear friend who is having problems in his marriage. If I could, I'd wave my magic wand over these two people and make all of their problems vanish...forever.

If you had to eat the cooking of one person you know personally for the rest of your life , whose would you want it to be?

**There is a wonderfully talented woman with whom I do some volunteer work on a regular basis. She is a marvelous cook and makes the best desserts I've ever eaten. She has my vote...hands down. lol

1. Hmmm, there are a few candidates... but I'm going with my 6th grade art teacher. She had no clue about art and had us doing 1st grade level "busy work" projects. They were boring and more than a little insulting to one's intelligence. As a result, she had a lot of discipline problems with our class. Uh, not me of course. I stayed out of it and did her stupid little projects.

2. I really want my friend E. to heal from his divorce - quit the destructive behavior.

3. Hands down, it's my mom's.

the wish i would make come true

is for my friend cookie and that would be hoping that she get the best thing life offers sher and she get everything she wants out of life she is a very special person and deserves very much to be happy, loved , and healthy for the rest of her life

well i guess ispoiled my gfs because i cooked for them being a chef and loving to cook !!!

Worst Teacher:..........Mmmmmm I seemed to get on with all my teachers at school, but if I had to choose one, I guess it would have been my Art Teacher. During one lesson, he picked me up by my ears.........ouch!!

Dream Come True For A Friend:..............I would like my friend garry to find love. He isn't exactly totally comfortable with women, so he limits his chances with women.

My Lifetime Cook:.........It would be my sister. She always serves wholesome food.
