What have you posted recently?

Okay, I thought I had already posted in here, but I don't see that I did....

So I posted what is my first story to post to lit in ten years. It's a little piece that had been sitting in my WIP file that I hadn't looked at in a long time. While I was a little stuck on the longer romance piece I am still working on, this popped up and I finished and published it to Lit. First time I've published anything "just for fun" in a very long time. Perhaps it will help me feel like this is a pleasant hobby again. I'm tired of writing feeling like a job.

Party Favors

It has been a while since Paul and his wife have gone out and played. But plans are dashed when Dee gets called in to work. Paul goes to the party anyway and soon gets talked into watching over a friend's girlfriend, making sure she gets home okay. But Melissa thrives on teasing, and Paul finds temptation in the form of the girl he is supposed to be guarding from exactly the kind of thing he can't help thinking about....

I just submitted my first story of 2025. I'm so slow, but I think it's really good.

Called "Slut Summer" about a girl home for the summer break from university, bored and hangs out with her old high school friends. She finds out they are virgins and well, guess the rest.

This biography focuses on military service and tells the story of an orphan who enlisted in the Army at seventeen. It recounts experiences from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, illustrating real-life events. The narrative avoids romantic elements—it's too profound for that kind of emotional display.

Erotic Couplings: She wouldn't have teased if he hadn't growled.

Masked
Reviews & Essays (not really either one, more like introspection done semi-poetically) : Lovers change us, for better or worse.

Two more 750s I did.

Chain story entry has been in pending since the 13th.

My latest story has been published. Losing His Virginity
Looking at my list of works I realized that my last story was published 10 months ago. I knew it had been a while. Life got in the way, but my biggest challenge was apathy. I started writing LHV over six months ago.
I don’t know where I go from here. I’m not confident that I will continue to write. I’m going to review my list of Plot Bunnies. Maybe something will inspire me.
I’d like a know how others have dealt with this.

Therapy for the Therapist just made it through to publishing. My first story in a good while.

I’ve also taken a dip in the SRP space with a post-pandemic themed plot.

Asymptomatic: Breeders on the Run

I will say, this type of writing requires more strategic thinking than I expected, advancing the plot while accommodating my cowriter’s characters and thoughts in the process.

Anal Sex Etc: A Scientific Approach was published today, as part of the Pink Orchid event. So far it's had 3 5-star ratings and 2 1-stars, which I'd pretty much expected.

What they said: What an amazing story! Maintaining a high level of quality writing and sexiness across that length is quite an achievement. I salute you...though I may never listen to the Nature Porncast, er, Podcast, the same way again.

Clearly at least one reader can cope with some plot and science discussion around the quota of anal sex...

The Double Life is published today, It may be the last entry for the Pink Orchid Event. I am glad that I was barely able to finish it in time. It's also my longest story so far with 47.4K words.

I debated between L/W, Romance, and Erotic Couplings. Eventually, I ended up submitting in L/W. Within one hour it had 5 votes all 1 star. I wonder who these superhumans are who can read 44k words in one hour.

Within 6 hours it's standing at 3.89/46, 13 Favorites, 3.4K views, and a lovely comment to make my day.

Irrespective of all the debate against the L/W category, it still offers the best reach and engagement. As long as I get more readers, I have nothing to complain.

Wow, complete opposite ends of the spectrum as far as reader expectations go. : P
There is no cheating and it's more of a true love romance... but it's a suspense thriller, and a lot of questions and possibilities linger through the initial part of the story.
Given the way it was written, it had to go to L/W. Thought of giving them a taste of a strong devoted wife :giggle:

Thank you so.much for this absolute gift! Yuh absolutely nailed your premise but so much more importantly than that, you injected some life into this place. A real genuine story, in my LW?! Incredible. Please please please come back and gift us with another sometime. Keep up the outstanding work!
This comment alone makes up for everything else that comes along with L/W.
