What happened to the stories I submitted?

Is this normal? I submitted stories one week ago and none of them have appeared in the NEW stories category. When I check on them in my Author's page it says they're "NOT approved yet"

Relax. Laurel has probably been concentrating on the Holiday contest and she'll have a backlog to get through. A week is nothing. Those of us who have been around a while can remember the old system, when it could take months between submission and posting!
