I surfed the news over the weekend and today, as I always do, and heard nary a mention of what was supposed to be a huge demonstration protesting the new administration and gathering strength to confront the oppressive nature of the new regime.

Not a word. I would have thought, had it been huge, Fox News would be on top of it.

I would have thought if it flopped, as it seems it did, that MSNBC and CNN would be gloating hourly on the hour and in between right along with the Michael Jackson coverage.

Has anyone heard anything?

Don't worry Amicus, Keith Olberman has not let you down. He's gloating about it on "Countdown" tonight.

Keith Oberman is a talented sportscaster and I applaud him for that, but he is so left wing that he makes Chris Mathews seem reasonable, which is not supposed to be what, 'news' is all about. At least Fox makes an effort to be balanced.

Keith is "infotainment" that's what I regard him as. I watch him fully aware that he is biased. In my opinion Countdown is on the same tier as The Daily Show.

No matter what you watch, it's all Kool-Aid you're drinking if you're watching it, MSNBC in general and Olberman in particular happen to be my flavor.
