I'm trying to remember what's wrong with keeping Elton John up at night, or with being gay.
The more salient point was that Obamacare, a massive piece of legislation, was pushed through on a purely partisan basis. That's a bad idea for any president of any party.
The two big mysteries of the day is, are you posting with tits or not, and how many kids have you sold drugs to today?![]()

Nobody can ever really "read" such a law because the implementing regulations -- already upwards of 20,000 pages -- are now in NPRM.
That's on the Republicans. Obama reached very very far across the aisle in attempts to bring some Republicans on board. I guess it is hard when there aren't a lot of them.
It's not 20,000 pages either. Last I checked it was just over 2,000 and even that was with a lot of blank pages or pages that simply refer you to other things. LEgalize is complicated language as you have to do everything you can to close up thousands upon thousands of loopholes. I'd be terrified of the law if it was shy of one thousand.

Congress read it. I know you've latched on to that stupid quote of "we have to pass this to see what's in it" well that's always true. Just most politicians are far too smart to say that outloud.
You didn't hear Bush saying "we have to Invade Iraq to see what weapons they have." But it's true. You didn't hear him say "We won't know when we'll be out of Afghanistan until we're out." It's the same thing just she admited it. It was stupid of her but it was stupid of her because it assumed the average American was smart enough to be dealt with like adults and not children.
Warren Buffett: Scrap Obamacare and Start Over
The Weekly Standard – By JEFFREY H. ANDERSON
You know things are bad for President Obama when even Warren Buffett has soured on Obamacare and says that “we need something else.” Money Morning writes:
Buffett and Obama
“Healthcare costs in the United States are like a tapeworm eating at our economic body.
“Those words come from famed investor Warren Buffett, who said he would scrap Obamacare and start all over.

No President ever describes their exit plan.
US families make less than they did in 1989
America's middle class has seen its median income drop by $600 since 'The Simpsons' first went on the air.

Yep. We lost unions and American wages went down because we didn't have the power to bargain with our employers any longer. It's not complicated. This was the obvious outcome of our actions and this is what America wants. We shouldn't bitch about it.
What union did you lose? Mine is still going.![]()
So the question remains, does Buffet support Obamacare?
Buffett: Scrap Obamacare and Start All Over
By Money Morning Staff Reports

When asked, "Are you in favor of scrapping [Obamacare] and going back to start over?", famed investor Warren Buffett said on CNBC March 1, 2010, "I would be — if I were President Obama.”
Buffett insisted that without changes to America's health system average citizens will suffer.
"We have a health system that, in terms of costs, is really out of control," he added. "And if you take this line and you project what has been happening into the future, we will get less and less competitive. So we need something else."

OH, and who cares what Buffet thinks in the first place? The point is a majority of Americans don't want it.
