VASTLY improved aint putting food on the table or paying the rent and I hate to tell you, but jobs losses aren't stopping anytime soon. All I see is layoffs galore. I just read this morning about SF school board approving nearly 900 pink slips and city workers expect massived layoffs, this isnt stopping..
Actually it has already stopped. Sure there are areas that are still having layoffs. Even during an economic boom there are still layoffs. And even during the worst part of the recession there were places hiring. Don't let your own myopic perception keep you from seeing the big picture. Besides, we all know that employment is a lagging economic indicator, right?
I just don't think Obama took it seriously and grossly underestimated the unemployment numbers calling for 8% unemployment not so long ago. Instead he focused on healthcare and cap and trade.
Didn't focus on jobs? What about 800 billion dollars of economic stimulus, and job creation measures? http://www.propublica.org/special/the-stimulus-plan-a-detailed-list-of-spending
What about 246 Billion dollars in tax cuts as a segment of it to stimulate the economy? http://www.propublica.org/special/stimulus-plan-taxcut-list
You guys are criticizing Obama for not doing enough to help the economy - and also doing too much to help the economy. Nice.
