Hi guys. See ya'll are still slamming each other.

Hi Vette and Richard. :)

I think you need to be a little clearer on what facts are since this really isn't one.

According to Wiki (feel free to find a better source if you like) a total of eight presidents have died in office. Four by assassins, four by natural causes.

1. William Harrison 4/1/1841
2. Zachary Tayler 7/9/1850
3. Abraham Lincoln 4/14/1865
4. James A Garfield 7/2/1881
5. William McKinley 9/6/1901
6. Warran G Harding 8/2/1923
7. Franklin D. Roosevelt 3/29/1945
8. John F. Kenney 11/22/1963

If you had said since James A Garfield died roughly twenty years elapse you would have been close to right. However for the twenty year curse to have worked Reagan should have died but that tough son of a bitch survived. Bush should have died, but nobody even made a decent run at him. Hillary should be just fine assuming it's a twenty year cycle if it's not we'll be fifty years over due for one in November.

Either way you should probably bother to fact check. This is the internet and sooner or later someone like me is going to take the five minutes out to check the internet and see if you're full of shit or not and then your credibility goes down the drain!

Back when this was a pattern it was roughly ever 16.6 years for what it's worth but I'm willing to accept that you might have just guestimated, I would have and I would probably have guessed twenty based on the recent end of the trend, that nine at the beginning really fucks the average.

I said approximately, but reference Fractal Time- Greg Braden, page 106,107, chapter 5, also check out snopes. http://www.snopes.com/history/american/curse.asp

If its wrong, its wrong, sheesh

It's not wrong. You just didn't read it. It says presidents elected in years evenly divisible by twenty die not approximately every twenty years. Interesting curse though. As I already mentioned it's already been broken.

Look you noticed it too! Reagan and Bush both survived the curse and should it hold true it shouldn't hit Hillary unless re-elections count. If I were here I'd just run for VP in 2020 just to be safe and run again in 2024 though. Just in case.

Most of the Presidential assassinations and attempts in modern times have been carried out by leftists.

Here is what I wrote: "I read something like, in the 160 years since William Henry Harrison died, approx. every 20 years, a President has either died in office, or has survived an attempt on his life..... "

so the curse stands.......Hillary, if elected, might not die, but an attempt might be on her life.....we'll see, lots of time to ponder this....

So your boyfriend's comments stroking Putin off are an indication that he's a leftist?

How about his love for modern day China?

Be consistent little pedo bear.

Some posters don't deserve responses, because they don't ever take the time to respond to anyone else in an intelligent manner. These posters basically just deserve ridicule constantly, because they are of low quality.

Awww, did little bitty pedobear get his feewlings hurt?

And it's approximately every 16.6 years, much closer to 15 than twenty if we're rounding. Which I pointed out.

If your counting attempts on their life as part of it I don't think there is a single president who hasn't had an attempt on their life ever.

now that gay marriage is legal, have you two thought about hooking up? Granted, it would be hard to decide who's the bigger bitch between the two of you

some day, you will realize what complete fuck ups you are.

there is help for the mentally damaged, have you called 911 yet seeking help?

If economics is the only mark then yeah. If social issues are important they are far more conservative even today than the US.

Or John Hinkley for that matter...

I'm not sure who else he can point to in modern times.

so 0/2.

The repeal of Glass-Steagall by the Financial Services Modernization Act you can lay in Bill's lap for not giving it a big thumbs down veto. But the CRA had been around since 1977 had little to nothing to do with the financial meltdown. That was all because of Gramm-Leach-Bliley or The Financial Services Modernization Act that was lobbied heavily for by the banks ( note that Gramm, Leach, and Bliley were all Republicans).

I'm not talking about the CRA of 1977. I am talking specifically of the CRA of 1995, which lowered lending standards, specifically of Fannie and Freddie, which led to a bunch of people owning homes which had no business owning homes.

Even with Federal mortgage assistance, half of those who had defaulted are still defaulting. And we are now back to our historical percentage of home ownership.

Bush survived an assassination attempt? Were the pretzels poisoned? Did the shoe carry a lethal payload?
