What happened to all of the doom and gloom economic threads?

That's a very large upward revision. Where's Vette to yell about the numbers being rigged to help re-elect Obama???

Jobless claims dropped 23,000? And Vette is MIA? Strange.

the "upwared" revision was MOSTLY inventory cause they cant sell shit

DOWN 30K??????????? To over 400K still?

PLEASE:mad:

Leading edge economic indicators are looking pretty good.

*realizing of course this thread is more about monkey's throwing poop than economics.

I know all the shit you just posted Capt Obvious

I axed WHERE YOU GOT THIS FROM?

You and that stupid fuck Rob didn't read it either:

"This is worrisome," said study author Dr. Colin West, an internist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. "In the next decade, we will be 50,000 primary-care physicians short for the needs of the country."

I know you have a 1950s Leave-it-to-Beaver mindset about doctors, but this is an era of specialization and many newly minted doctors are choosing to specialize. As I said earlier (which I note you refuse to acknowledge, showing once again the cowardice of Vietnam-era Marines), primary care physicians can easily be augmented by nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants.

Not every headcold requires a board-certified MD.

First of all, no I did not say there would be no primary care doctor shortage. I know there will be because we arguably have one right now as the baby boomer docs are retiring (mine just did).

I said that the healthcare system has the ability to be flexible and cover patient care in other ways and with other types of medical professionals. We're generating more PAs and nurse practitioners than ever and technology allows for much more efficient patient care, meaning doctors can see more patients and spend less time and resources handling things like patient records and reimbursement. And the fact that everyone will have insurance means no more time and money "wasted" by helping sick people who have no insurance or exceeded their annual benefit.

Your flaw is that you insist on seeing the healthcare system as a static one-dimensional system. And no matter how many times it's illustrated to you that it's anything but that, you come back at a later time and start over with the same misconceptions.

393k is not more than 400k. Weekly jobless claims are still expected to be elevated for another month or so because of the superstorm.

As I'm sure you know... the UI numbers are somewhat artificial, especially when you are looking at absolute numbers and not a percentage of workers and/or eligible workers. The volume of the work-force has changed in the past few years because of the baby boomers retiring, population increasing and low interest student loans keeping people in school.

Further, the UI program has changed in that some states have 99 weeks of eligibility, some 26, and others in between based on some arbitrary formula.

UI, while an important benefit you paid for when working, has become an excuse for some lollygaggers to take a break. It's not a true representation of people who lost their jobs and want another one.

btw, Home Prices are goin up, YES

Marlarky (with respect to home prices (I don't have a clue about auto loans (I pay cash at CarMax)))

Joe and Sally don't give a rat's turd about the DOJ when they are deciding to buy a house. They are looking for location and price. Neither of which have anything to do with what the DOJ may or may not be doing to a small handful of banks.

yes

BUT

I thought yu had NUMBERS to back your shit up not some Obama STOOGE's POV

I heard a fella on C-Span spouting BLS numbers.

Granted, I didn't do my own research to confirm the numbers, I simply noted and commented on what I heard.

I, however, am available to conduct a research project culminating in a very detailed white-paper if you'd like to retain me.

Joe n Sally that heretofore were turned DOWN......now are NOT, hence Joe and Sally x 800 or 200,000 are looking+ higher prices

we will again pay the price>>>>the road
