WHAT happen to Sleeping NUDE!

what happen to sleeping naked, I have been for 37 plus years.
I did a little at home as a teen weird how i end up jerking off when i did !
but when i moved out, I was free!

when I told my wife tobe, she said her dad did too, (couple of my g/f told me there dads did! )

after I got Married.
she start too also! until the KIDS!
She didn't want to have to put on something cold when she had to check on the baby/kids, there grown and gone, still the some ol long sleeping shirts, IF i ask her to get in bed naked, I get a dirty look but she does!

When the kids was at home (2 son and a daughter) The master bedroom was will knowen enter at your own risk!
but never was the door locked, IF when one needs us they could come in when they needs too.. I would not have a locking door IN my home.

REASON maybe:
when I was living at home (with parents) one time, my sister (13 be my guess now days) was taking a shower, ( Had shower doors frosted glass one bathroom house) my dad had to use the pot real real bad, he kicked the door in to use it! for weeks that door didn't get fixxed, and when it did, wasn't any locks on it again.

Hey Mr.W....I love my pajamas! But I am absolutely forbidden from wearing them to bed; it's a non-negotiable "house rule". Every once in awhile (once a week or so), I get a special treat and my husband tells me I can put them on when we're done with lovemaking. I have extra blankets on my side of the bed. Bedroom dynamics! I like to sleep nude under a pile of blankets with the window cracked open for cold air, while my wife likes to sleep in nice jammies with only light blankets in a warm room. I don't insist that she sleeps nude, but she knows how much I like to feel her skin and breasts against me, so often when I start to snuggle up she'll get naked. Sometimes it leads to sex, sometimes not, but she knows that the feel of her body againt mine is a pleasure for me and that it's not always about having easy access to sex. When it does get sexual she'll ask me to lock the door before we start and then fall asleep without getting her pj's back on, otherwise she'll put them back on before she falls asleep.

My daughter turned 7 this month and my wife has been hinting that I should stop sleeping nude. Both kids will come crawl into bed on cold mornings, which we don't discourage as long as they don't make a habit of it. My son (5) is still very fond of my wife's breasts (both kids were breastfed, but my son really liked it). He always goes for a handful when he's snuggling, which my wife is trying to discourage. He is getting much more stealthy at it.

I don't consider myself a nudist or naturalist, but I don't feel the human body is something to be hidden from my kids. There are still occasions when my daughter will stick her head into the shower (when I'm in it) to ask me something. It doesn't really bother me, but my wife is more conservative. We have never pushed nudity issues on the kids, except that when my daughter goes out her nipples have to be covered and she has to wear panties. I figure that the kids will stop barging into the bedroom and bathroom when *they* don't want to see their dad naked any more, but that's not my wifes take on it.

I will admit at 33 I tried it for the 1st time last summer at the encouragment of a friend who has always done it. I figured if he can manage with 3 kids I can manage being single and living alone. I promised I would try and found when I was freshly shaved I really enjoyed it. not sure when i started sleeping nude, sometime when i was a teenager... now i only wear something when there are other people who might see me (and whom i doN#t wnat to see me naked) and find it quite uncomfortable then.

as for parents being seen naked by their kids - well, i know that my father was taking boths with me and my brothers at least until i was seven, so nudity was approached quite freely in our house, so i hope whenever i have kids i will be similar...

I agree. I can remember my dad screaming at me when I was little because he was going from the bathroom to the bedroom without a towel, and I happened to be in my room with the door open. Geez, if it bothered him that damn much, he should have worn a towel or taken his clothes with him.

I'm fairly relaxed about nudity. I don't go out of my way to be naked in front of my kids (four girls), but if they come into my room while I'm dressing I don't make a big deal of it (though I'm trying to get across that they should knock first). My husband's pretty much the same way, but he tries a little harder to make sure that the kids don't see him without his clothes on.

The trick is to strike a healthy balance between letting it all hang out and being modest. Children need to learn that their bodies are private and that they should respect other people's privacy; however, they also need to know that their bodies aren't "dirty."

I expect my children to honor my privacy and knock and wait for a reply before coming into the bedroom. I respect their privacy too and do the same; if they're in their room with the door closed, I knock and wait for a reply. I'd never barge in on them and I don't expect them to do that to me either.....Though the other night my daughter came running in at 10pm saying, "Mommy, Mommy, there are two deer outside my window!!!" Too funny. Fortunately, we weren't in the act.

We've been really lucky in that regard. All of our kiddies were really good at sleeping through the night when they were babies.

I'm generally opposed to the family bed. The few times that I brought a baby into my bed when I was nursing, I didn't sleep well at all. Once I woke up convinced that I'd rolled over onto a baby. I had completely forgotten about putting her into her crib, and I had to get up and make sure she was there. I know too many people who have 5 and 6 year olds still sleeping with them; it might work for some families, and I respect that, but it's not for me. If anyone's gonna hog the covers, it's gonna be me!

However, when my ex and I were splitting up, my oldest daughter, who was two, wanted to sleep with me. I let her, because at the time, it seemed like we needed each other. I worried when I remarried that she would have a problem with it, but when we moved in with my husband she ended up sharing a room with her sister and it's been working out well enough for the past three years. But we're trying to sell our house so we can get a bigger place. That way our kids will have privacy when they're old enough to want it.

Have for over 30 years.
I can't stand the pajamas getting twisted around as I turn, and like the freedom to let my body air out at night.
The only time I wear underwear is at someone's house when I'm visiting, like a relative or friend or someone.
Maybe it's a California thing. It's easier to do here where it doesn't get so cold.

I guess I should said we knock also, but when there young they do forget some time, or are scared from a noise or dream.

We let them in bed, for 20 minutes or so, then they was taken back to bed..

HAs for life style around the house, I or we didn't walk around naked, I had boxers she wear one my big Tshirts like to set around in has a family.

I been married 7 years before we start a family, So i had a Master Bathroom wasn't me Us running around naked in the hallways was the kids. they normal had a towle....
I to would take the kids in the shower with me to wash up
did so until they was 5 or 6 Years Son liked his baths and his boats or toys.
MY daugther likes showers.
My daughter as she got into her teens is the one whom was less modesties.even out into the familyroom in her bra and panties. I make a couple coments about it, then one time she
went to her room after i said something about her dress
she came back out in a string bikini. she SHUT me up..
She has her mother ass for sure!

SO far not a grandpa! one married other is living with her b/f..has been for 3 years.

My wife also Breastfeed Both, MY son was the first he gotten a couple teeth is and one time, bite my wife so hard it broke the skin, YOU don't bite the golden goose..was his last meal ..
not sure about my daugther, I beleaaive she was like 14 to 16 months when my wife cut her off..
and me...Dam it was sweet!

BTW last 2 days been nice wether, She came to bed Naked!

Will i was raised in a nudism type of family life, so nudism wasn't a big deal.
I sleep nude a lot. I wear a teddy for a friend or lover.

I live with flatmates, and I have an occasional recurring bed partner. When he's there, we're naked, but there are always 2 robes on a hook on the back of the bedroom door. They're there in general in case I'm cold when I get out of bed. They also function for boyyo and me for trips to the toilet or kitchen.

Nude is wonderful unless you are routinely sleeping alone.

Sad to say that is my curent sit. When this "norm" occurs -- well it's pajama bottoms (flannel of course) and tank top. Just the feeling of a piece of cloth 'tween me and the sheets is somehow comforting.

When not alone -- whatever I happen to still have on when the heads finally hit the pillows is perfect -- from au naturel to socks.

Pretty pedestrian I know but at least I walk some kinda walk.
