What "go-to" move or element tends to reoccur in your stories?

I came across this vintage photo in a different forum thread, and it reminded me of a sex move I use in most of my stories. That got me thinking about how many other writers have a go-to move they like to feature in their stories. It's not so much what category you tend to write in but what little (or big) thing will, more often than not, appear in your stories.

For me, it's the woman grabbing her breasts and holding them out for her partner (male or female) to come in and taste. She holds it and waits, no words. The partner always moves in, and nurses (faux nurses, I only included lactation in one story) on the offered breast, and the sex gets notched up. Sometimes, it's one hand, one breast; other times, both are offered. It's tender, sensual, and actually rather mild when compared to where my stories tend to go after that. Initially, it was not intentional; I just wrote it and did not notice it was a recurring element until it was pointed out to me. I'm sure my therapist would love to dig down on it. My simple answer is it's sexy as hell and heightens the electricity of the scene. I don't just write this move; I do it, and It always delivers.

Same here. With predictable regularity. There's great fun to be had in the wet. A yet-to-be-published chapter features the unveiling of a communal shower room for 12 including a hot tub with special features like a wide-area rain and a waterfall, and multiple hand-held massage sprays. An FMC is the "shower expert", and regularly takes charge of the complex control panel.

All of my stories so far are first-person. However, that might make it more difficult for my readers, especially women, to identify with the characters. I want my readers to find themselves caught up in the story.

As for the original question of a recurring move, it's when he brushes her nipple through her shirt, very gently. IRL this almost always leads to more.
