I chose mine because it amuses me, and I just adore those.. dancing.. bananas. lol.

I don't know if my av's mean anything to me. They just strike a chord in me. When I get sick of them I find others I like.

All of my Avs are somehow "me"...I had a piece of art up for a while, but it's a work that hangs above my desk, and reminds me of my childhood, so even that was "me", in a way...

I decided a long time ago that although a lot of people online create their own little fantasy identities, it would be much easier to be as honest and real as possible- my avatars are kind of an extension of that philosopy.

mine actually means a great deal to me. i wsnt alloed to put one up untill well over 500 posts. A finally gave me permission to put one up, but only if it represented me in my relationship. he calls me his puppy, so thats were the paw prints come from. the "his" is pretty self explanitory. it went through three or four different drafts before i designed one that he approved. if i remember correcly, one of the earlier drafts had a dog collar, another a muzzle, and another a leash.

My AVs are usually a personal photo or have very specific personal references.

The one I'm currently using was inspired by a combination of Miss Rebecca's Japan thread and CutieMouse's dress up thread which they both started at approximately the same time - chose the image and title since I love fetish shoes and will never be able to wear them due to a bad ankle, and since I see myself as a no-nonsense type of femme who is not only going through a VERY Toppy phase but an occasional boi stage, as well ...
