What does it mean?

On my Dashboard, one of my stories says "new" in orange, instead of "pending" in grey.

Does this mean that I'm finally going to get a story published here?

I'm asking y'all, since y'all have much more experience here. LOL.

Yes, New means it's been scheduled for publishing - should go live in just over an hour if it hasn't. It'll keep the New label for up to a week or so depending on how many stories are in the category.

There should be a date along with that New Icon. That will be the date it will publish.

There was nothing beside the Orange New Icon.
I figured it would be up today since that appeared after the stories were posted for that day.
