I'm sitting here typing to ya'll wearing my "perky" night clothes.



Soft pink jammies with eeyore and sayings by him splattered all over the material, silly cutesy panties and my striped eeyore slipper socks. It isn't sexy but that doesn't matter, I have no one here to impress but this particular sleepwear makes me smile and usually perks me up.




What are your perky clothing garments? What do you own that is maybe a bit goofy but heightens your mood?

I have a pair of blue suede boots I'll wear them on days I wake up not feeling like going to work, or doing whatever I have to do that day. They always perk me up. It's impossible to feel down wearing blue suede.

I have one fitted suede forest green shirt that fits me perfectly and looks fantastic on. I wear that when I need to feel *up*.

Oh, and my leather half boots with the 3" heels. I'm over 6' tall with them, and being taller makes me feel happier for some reason.

I have a pair of black leather boots that perk me right up. They're not knee high, but they look awesome with jeans.


I also feel so much better if I put my jewelry on. Just the weight of earrings in my ears can make me feel glamorous.

I feel good wearing any of my clothes cuz...well, I only wear what makes me comfortable.....but nothing beats my comfy pairs of Zubaz sweat type pants, and a white sweatshirt.

A pair of sweet D&G titanium specks. I look brighter than I am and I can convince myself that I am not a loozah! Self Delusion - gotta love it.

shoes seem to do it for a lot of girls...

My favorite pair is camel colored sandals....3 inch heels, that lace up over my foot and then up my calves....very very sexy....

and sexy lingerie makes me feel good too...thongs, pretty bras....garter belts and stockings not pantyhose....

My ex sister in law has a pair of purple suede boots cybergirly, they always made me smile just looking at them. I wonder if those are her perk me up boots.

There ya go RNB, that's exactly what I'm talking about. They make you feel silly and lighter.

I use to hate to wear jeans P.B. but I've bought several pair recently and I find that's what I reach for in the closet when I'm just going out. They can make even a flat tushie like mine, not look so flat.


Being taller always makes me feel better Cleo.. *sigh* but an added 3" only brings me up to a grand total of 5'4". lol

Jewelry always did that for me too Raina. I had two pairs of ss frog earings. With my long hair anyone rarely ever saw them... but just knowing they were there whimsically swaying from my lobes made me feel silly.

Comfie clothing is a big bonus, KS. What I'm saying isn't so much if you feel comfortable in your clothing.. but do you own anything a bit silly or foolish or just any certain thing that makes you smile and feel better than most others.

I often wear brightly colored clothes - especially Hawaiian shirts. I am not very fashionable; people who think you should only wear dark colors in the winter would go nuts around me as the more wintery it becomes the more brightly and outlandish I dress. I never understood the winter==dress dark logic, it seems completely ass backwards to me; you want to dress as bright as you can to offset the dark and dullness of winter.
