What are those things you want to do or achieve before you die/pass to your next life etc? I was going to say the top 10 things, but decided against a number as some will have more, some less. So what is on your list of things you really feel you must do? Doesn't ahve to be serious things, could be as simple as ride the highest, fastest roller coaster you can get to. :cathappy:

Meet my relatives in Japan. I have a great uncle and a couple of cousins that I've never met.

Note: I have more things I would like to accomplish, but this seems a spot to discuss the things that I wish for, but will likely never achieve. I no longer have any way of even contacting my family there, and would not know where, or how, to even start.

Fall in love and be loved in return

Be a parent

Write a bestselling novel.

See my nieces and nephew's be adults.

See my boys grow up and be out on their own and happy.
Get my Masters degree.
Go to Greece.
Go to Disney World and stay in the Cinderella castle.
See my friends that i left in Philly.
Speak to my mother and come to terms with that relationship.
Try out for Survivor.
Wear a bikini on the beach.

Enjoy retirement with the people I love.

That's it. I've done everything and been everywhere I would really want. Now I just want downtime to enjoy life.

Love everyone's ideas, and I hope you all get to make them happen. For me the list gets added onto from time to time...at the moment it consists of :

* Find a way to help my son achieve his ambition to be independent, and be able
to know that when I am gone he will be OK emotionally, financially, physically,
psychologically and spiritually...it is perhaps the thing which weighs most on my
mind of late and seems most urgent.

* Know my daughter has a secure and happy future.

* See my grandaughter grow into adulthood.

* Write that novel I have been told to do by so many people who should know
since I was in my teens, more so as I have grown into an adult. With the most
recent moving and strong urgings to pursue this above all else by so many
people I looked up to and respect, I sort of feel it is akin to sin to not try and
fulfil my dream and their predictions, and not use the talent they seem to think I
was born to realise and embrace. Oh well, I have been published in academic
writing, but that is not what they wanted, predicted nor what I truly thrive on.

* Travel more, preferrably not so much as tourist but traveller/inhabitant.

* Do something or things which give back to the world/community...ideally we
both would love to at some point have a hands on active role in helping others.

* If I can get my health back at some point I want to have a physical adventure
such as a long walk/hike (days/weeks as opposed to hours), climbing, abseiling,
exploring.

* Become more tolerant, extend my spiritual self, hone my meditation skills
further.

* Become a fitness guru...the will is there, the knowledge to a large extent, but
the body is not co-operating.

* Improve my art and photographic skills.

* Help F reach a place of peace, and if I am blessed, be able to give him one of
his dreams.

* Meet or know what happened to someone important in my life who I have never
met or spoken to, and perhaps through doing so be able to help them answer
some of their own questions...another thing which weighs on my mind often.

* Be a much better slave.

Road trip?

I would like to be involved in a 24/7 D/s relationship for at least a year with a terrific Dom who would demand my very best and know how to go about getting it.

*To fall in love (ok, to fall in love and be in a long-term relationship, whether that be a D/s relationship or not...although I would love for it to be a D/s relationship!)

*To own a house in the countryside just outside Edinburgh, where I can travel to and from work to home and visa vera....

*To be a full-time lecturer at university teaching BSL** Linguistics

*To go on my travels (Australia, the USA and New Zealand, especially)

*To go back to Japan and travel around Japan, and spending more time with my father, while in Japan.

*To be more healthily

AND mostly of all......

*To be RICH......well......not really rich, just rich enough, as to not worry about bills etc.

**British Sign Language

* to have a child

* to have both my husband and my Master in the same zipcode

* write a novel

* be financiall stable. Rich would be great..but I dont require rich. I'm loved by two of the best men in the world. It would be selfish of me to ask for money too *wink*

* to see my nephews grow into the strong men I know they can be

* to move back to Ohio, to my home town.

I did this thread before. I'll have to look it up to find my answers... I'm sure they've not changed too much. It was too recent ago.

I've got tons of things I want to do still but I feel that if I were to die tomorrow, it would be okay. My family and loved ones have grown the point that I am confident they could cope. I find much peace in that.

1. Lose my virginity.
2. See #1.
3. Ditto.

'Nuff said?

PS> I'm not a virgin (other than my current tagline status) but I've never, truly ever had sex in my 49 years with a women of whom I find attractive. tis a pity, but at least I'm not in an abusive relationship, which I consider the ULTIMATE hell.

My friend did a website like this, it's called Before I'm Gone.

1. Travel the world. I love travel so much.
2. Get my degree from Gallaudet. (a lifelong dream that now is a possible reality as long as I keep up with schoolwork)
3. Say goodbye to loved ones. I fear dying alone without being able to say goodbye.
