That was an assignment in high school English after reading Ben Franklin's epitaph. I thought it was stupid, since I didn't know anyone who would blow thousands on a burial and stone. Ashes in a coffee can was my family's spending level. As the cost of fuel rises, burial in some garden could become cheaper than cremation. Then my tombstone could be a little card stuck in the ground next to a tomato plant.
