"And yet these self-justified juggernauts of abortion rights casually stroll into mass each Sunday and just as casually participate in receiving Holy Communion. Which means these guys must be spending more time in the confessional than they are in the halls of power, or they're thumbing their patrician noses at the magisterial teaching of the Church, the Holy Father, and Christ Himself.

"So, why isn't someone doing something to make sure these characters clean up their act or are cleared out of the Church? Well, after all this time, someone finally is. A group representing thousands of Catholic activists will soon present a petition to Pope John Paul II, asking him to officially excommunicate these and other pretenders to the faith.

"It's time they all learned that they can't take hold of the cup of the blood of Jesus Christ with hands still dripping with the blood of innocent babies."

American Life League is the nation's largest pro-life educational organization with more than 375,000 supporting families.

Daschle's saving our asses from the least competent administration since Harding's. Someone's got to tell the Euros that W is not responsible, that this cup will pass, that we're not all into planning WW III with China, that many of us would like to reduce Greenhouse gases. It's kinda important....

Just another Democrat politician

He's a lying, self-serving, hypocritical asshole who would sell out anyone for his political power. His routine political pursuits are a violation of his oath of office so apparently pledges of honor mean nothing to the man which is a tacit declaration of his personal honor. A typical career politician, nothing more, maybe less.

He voted to acquit the traitor who gave China the means to target U. S. cities with the nuclear weapons technology sold to them for campaign contributions, so he has no concern for this country except the wealth of others he can steal and squander like the moajority of Democrat politicians.

This is why he is fighting to prevent the Republicans from implementing solutions to problems on which Democrats campaign successfully because a preoblem solved is a campaign issue lost for the Democratic Party and that is the one absolute intolerable affront.

He fits well into the peer group cited in WD's post.
