What do you look for in a new home

4 walls.lol. Plus, enough room so I don't feel too closed in.

If there is any way possible I'd say get out of town and rent a house. Better yet, move to the country. Then look for a place where you can't see your neighbors.

Otherwise a big kitchen and bathroom.

want to live in the city i dont think i could handle living in country yet ... have actually been looking for apartments in central london but are more expensive

we may just rent

I think we have a difference in terms- in America, apartments ARE rental units. Are you looking to buy a place?

Close to work
One more room than you think you need
Clean place
Good Windows
A floor plan that allows for more than 1 waay of laying out furniture. (We had one place where each room HAD to be done 1 way, or there wasn't room for everything. After a year it got old)
A kitchen that isn't a closet
Good closet space
Nice big bathtub for soaking
Stores that are near by for quick stops. Nothing worse than being 25 minutes away from a store when you need a gallon of milk for dinner.

Hmm. That's about all for now.

I really believe a home has a soul.

I can walk in and feel if it's happy or not.

If I'm buying - as opposed to renting - it's important to me.

The last home we bought felt sad but the price was right.

It took two years to make it blossom then we we had to sell.

Somebody struck lucky.

sexy-girl
don't look for a place that is flashy and nice

look for a place that is you.
something that fits all your needs.

cause no matter the place you can ad your own flash that represents your personality.

me i'm looking for a house right now
and i'm looking for.
3 bed rooms small kitchen big dining and big liveing room.
I also want a place with a yard that can use good landscapeing.
and I want a house that is liveable but needs work cause I want to do some 'fixing' up.

I also want one that's on the west or south end of my city. cause it's close to work and family. not too much driveing.

fit my needs first then the rest will come.

renting almost for sure but it will be our first place so we're just newbies :)

not in a complete rush so we're going to take our time but we've probably been taking our time a bit to much so going to try and be a bit more active

thanks for everybodys replies i probably will be bugging people here more when we get closer to actually getting a place :)
