What Do You Long For?

Actually, that was for a friend that is quite sick...

I had one really bad day last week, and in the midst of the chaos I stopped and did something nice for someone. I can't tell you how much that changed my day for the better...

You don't have to - I already know. The act of thinking/doing for someone else helps put the thought of me where it belongs. And it is completely reusable, too.

I like the way you said that. Yet, it confounds me how I'll let a day get that bad before I think to do something for someone else. Even if I know I should do something about it, the mindset leaves you temporarily unable to react with common sense...

I long for the day that I really feel love. To have his arms aound me and to feel the kiss of passion. Be able to talk to him and not fight. I long for that special person to love and be love by. To go off together to a cabin in the mountains and sit infront of a fire and make love. To wake up in each other arms in the morning, and fall asleep the same way.

I long for that touch of his hands on my body. To make my body light up with fire and make love to him. Have him take my body over with his, to make us as one. To have the love with some one special is what I long for most of all.

Just to go into more detail.

I long for a woman who is loving, intelligent, kind, caring, stands up for her beliefs and doesn't stand up for crap. Someone who likes o show and receive affliction in public and in privacy. Looks aren't a factor for me, if she is what I have listed, that makes me attracted to her.

I long for the time when I was a child and I could go out to play without someone over me to make sure I am Safe....like I have to do for my son....

I long for the days of jump rope and hop scotch...instead of cube and xbox...

I long for simple vacations such as a day at the beach with just a cooler full of food and drinks..... instead of Great Adventure and rollercoasters....

I long for sitting and watching a sunset with the one I love....instead of being too busy to see that the day is done and it is 10:00 already.....

I long for people being kind to each other instead of pushing pass you and not even saying excuse me....

I long for quiet in the movies instead of hearing cell phones going off....or a coach coaching instead of his cell phone going off...or eating without the damn cell phone going off....

I long for filled nights instead of emptiness....

Nice thoughts I long for all those things,too. Also I long for the day when me and my special friend can be in the same place and finally meet in r/l and see that what we feel now will be the same in person and then possibly start building a life together.

Long for the ability to make one person smile a little each day....just by knowing I'm there for them...
I have met and made so many new friends on Lit...it's like my family on the internet....
Keeping in touch w/them every day...knowing they are there for me too....
