I'm glad I started this thread....it has made me feel good and I'm glad it helped some other ladies too. Never had much self confidence before as a BBW. I think I was living in the wrong place!!!

I have to admit to having low self esteem about my size and my shape, but being on Lit and talking to some of the gents that love the roundness of girls like me has boosted my that self esteem beyond measure. Sure I still get days when I doubt myself, my spaniels ears boobs that make me wish I had draw strings to pull em up instead of knee socks to keep em in, but on the whole, Lit has done me a world of good.

This thread has only added to it. So from an occasional doubting bbw....

You guys are the greatest. I, like many others, have been a BBW all my life. I was ridiculed as a child, and was in my 20's before someone came along who appreciated me. I was 50 before I found out that with self esteem and an outgoing personality, men truly did enjoy curvy women. Thank you all for the boost to our egos that we need.

I agree Manic....so much. Plus it does not help when you grow up having relatives, like my grandmother who constantly said...."Oh you'd be so pretty ONLY IF....you lost this....ONLY IF....you did that...." Or a Father who constantly said, "Ewwww.....You've GOT to lose weight, no guys like a fat girl or will ever want you". And that's because he has an Asian/small-framed chick fetish... I have to agree with Peachydreams on the self esteem and outgoing personality. I'm a photographer and have worked with a lot of "fashion model" types. Personally, I don't find them attractive. Most of them are sticks with very little personality, or with a stuck-up personality.

I much prefer a voluptuous, soft, curvy woman with a great personality and some self esteem. They are just fun to be around, and let's face it...if you're lucky enough to get them into bed (or wherever) they are just dynamite.

I would LOVE to find someone over here in the UK that specialisies in photographing bbw girls. Damn I would love them.
