What do you do when a Traffic Light malfunctions?

If the traffic light is not working, you treat it as a four or two way stop, what ever the case maybe.

If they have failed completely, UK traffic will proceed cautiously and traffic will probably pass the junction more freely than when the lights were working.

If they have stuck in one position, I will notify the Highway authorities, tell them what I am going to do then:

Put my Hi-Vis jacket on and stand in the middle of the road directing traffic.

They get there much faster if they think some idiot is directing traffic.
