I've told him to go away as have the attorneys, the judge and the police but he persists. I have even considered moving just to get away from him but I won't let him do that to me.

Actually, I just ignore them til they go away. I've had a long line of men who have dumped ME and still think they own me. Ignoring them and going on about my life is slow going but it works.
Unless yours is stalking you, or you have a real fear of violence or that he'll disrupt your life. Then you should really get a restraining order.
