I collect vintage clothing and any cool vintage cosmetic/beauty products and cool pop culture shit from the 50s and 60s.

My main collection is of rocks, crystals, minerals. I dabble in crystal healing so need some of them for that, the evident beauty of many of the raw minerals brought about the collection. This is an amythyst geode, shame the inside hasn't come out too well, it's wonderfully mysterious.

Okay, I collect vintage hats, vintage and antique kitchen gadgets, and reciently I seem to have started on fountains and gothic style crosses.

I also go thru fazes with the things that I sew with. Some times it's fabric, some times trim, some times grommets or buttons, I've even gone about collecting any sort of sewing accessory I could get ahold of. But that stuff eventually gets used.

eta: Oh yeah, and Jounar has been sending me bits and pieces of euros. I've collected coins since I was really little, kind of expanded on my mother's collection really, so when he sends me some bit it's just terribly fasinating to me. I spent more time staring at the ten euro he sent me in my christmas gifts than i have watching the dvd's so far.

My latest collection is all about stockings. I have silk, the type with seams up the backs, argyle, cotton, wool... garter belts, sock garters.

I wear them to work, dates... out.

now that you mention it I can't walk along the beaches without picking up stones. when I was working by an excavation site I used to wander it at lunch when nothing was running & find all kinds of quartz.

I am pagan so they all have meaning, but on occasion I do return them fully charged with positive energy to help the earth heal.

It seems I collect reptiles too...
I have had as many as 10 snakes in the apt due to fostercaring I do.
I am down to my own personal 4 but may be obtaining a blue tongued skink soon

We've got Dick Hyman (who, by the way, is an organ player with a single called 'The Liquidator'), Gay Pecker, Hyman Hacker (no joke), Fanny Supple, Mary Christmas, Dr. Quack, Dr. Fear and Dr. Hazard (Dentists who work together), etc. etc.

I used to collect ticket stubs. I had several hundred, 90% from things I'd done myself, and a few given to me by others. I had this HUGE bag full of them and my wife pretty much saw it as garbage. Eventually she persuaded me to give it up...she's probably right, they ARE just little scraps of paper. So I threw away that big bag a couple of weeks ago.
