What did you do before the computer?

Do you even remember? :)

I don't think I do. It seems now every time I'm bored, I end up online and then just kind of sit here in a vegetative state not really doing anything. Check a few sites, e-mail, nothing really.

I suppose I used to do productive things before I got the computer. Can't for the love of me remember what they were. LOL

I'm not an internet junkie. I don't have to be online, and I don't try to cover up when I am. All total I'm on maybe 2 hours a day, and that includes at school. But on weekends, boy watch out. I usually go out at night, but all day is online.

I spent a lot of time in libraries and bookstores, and surfed (13) channels looking for old movies.

A book?

I might have to hit Google and find out what one of those is.

I spent more time in the gym. Now I surf workout and sports nutrition websites. Who knows? Eventually, I'll find my way back to the gym a little more often.

Hmmmm. Before computers I use to have a life, I swam almost daily and visited friends frequently and read and hiked and went dancing and went to the gym and bought groceries for the house and cooked and..hmmmm, now I'm depressed.

There never was a before computers for me. I was playing maze games on an Apple IIE as soon as I could sit up.

I actually had to BUY porn back then.

Befoe i got my computer I would spend my time in the pub shooting pool.

There was a time before computers? Damn wish I would have seen it. I too had a wonderful Apple IIE .. I think the text game I used to play all the time was called Amnesia. Was rather interesting for a while. Also had the TI with games on it, and then Atari, then Nintendo... yadda yadda... Now I'm just hoping to get enough money to buy the next greatest thing.

I used to write books about how the world would one day be filled with computers and people would be able to communicate with each other on something called the InteractiveNetwork. Of course my ideas were branded outlandish, and after I'd been tarred and feathered I decided never to speak of such things again. Iris, if you ever find out what "books"[sp?] are, please don't remind me, as it brings back too many painful memories ...

Before computers? damn I missed it. I was working with MS-DOS ever since it came out, and when I could read to.

Before computers....I did much of what I do now. *g* Walks on the beach, time with friends, reading, listening to music, family time. The key???? Moderation. *g* Ohhhh..and the odd hours I'm on here! LoL

Listening to Music, Playing music. Was always out on my skateboard cruising the nearest ramp.

then I got an Amiga 500, and it ALL went down hill from there. LOL

skateboards...

Oooohhhh...I used to love to watch a friend of mine skateboarding! Mmmm...the fun the fun. *g*
