I've never had occasion to put polish on my nails (maybe if I ever get one of those power rings DC produces every so often), but they grow abnormally fast and I can't be fucked to cut them as often as I should so they're frequently long. Same goes for my hair, which I'm glad about. Nobody makes me get a haircut more than twice a year.

I've had one nail painted once and I did it myself. I figured I would try to figure nail polish so's I could apply it to a woman should the urge strike me. The first time I painted MIS' nails, her comment was "Wow, you dod this better than I do."

Applying nail polish is harder than it looks.

I wear nail polish about one day every two years. Usually, I put it on for some big occasion and then remember how ridiculous it looks on me, as I have small fingers and keep my nails military short. My toes and toenails are, likewise, so small as to not worth bothering with. Plus, I just don't see the point of it.

Rachael Ray suggests that if you have trouble applying polish evenly with your off hand (i.e, with your left hand if you're right handed), simply hold a tennis ball in your good hand. That will steady the hand, making it much easier to control the nail brush with your less skilled hand. Ought to work with the good hand too, I suppose.

I never have my fingernails painted, since it frustrates me to no end when they get chipped, which is almost immediately after doing them.

My toenails, on the other hand, are aways painted. Right now it's Revlon's Iced Mauve, which turned out a deep, soft pink. My all time favorite to wear is Revlon's Cherry Crush, though. I tend to stick to the pinks and reds, they're safe and easy.

I do have a good collection of purples, blues, and black. Even one called Blue Chameleon that you can't tell if it's green, blue, or black. Maybe I'll use some of this creative energy and do some wacky nail painting.

As for my gum, I'd like Trident Pina Colada, please.

Not a fingernail polish girl here either - just the sight of it on my fingers triggers OCD tendencies, and I keep wanting to wash my hands. I'm weird.

But yes to the toes - I love a good pedicure and usually go for red or pink.

No gum for me though - I'm a swallower.

My fingernails are french manicure. My toe nails are usually red in the winter and fall and during the summer I like hot pinks and corals.

Don't you just love the names of the colors? I know a couple of years ago i was wearing, "My Chuahuaha Bites!" lol. I also like, "Lost Without My GPS" which is so true! Heck even with my GPS, I get lost.
