Dungeon Crawler Carl - Matt Dinniman

I cannot recommend this book more highly. It's hysterically funny, has such interesting insight on the social internet, and has a talking cat. 👍👍
OMG I started this a couple weeks ago. I’m on book 7 and am shocked at how much I’m loving it. It gets intense.

Finally gave in and read Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarro. I understand the appeal of the spicy scenes, but honestly felt I've read the trope-ladden first half of the story written better in other books.

I just finished reading a section of the Nancy Friday book about women’s fantasies. (Originally written in 1973 so it’s a bit tame and dated). I am reading it at bedtime and when I come across a hot fantasy I read it out loud to my wife, who is getting ready for bed.

In a half hour reading session, my wife cringed, raised her eyebrows, made a uh-huh face, made a scruffy face…

It’s actually been fun.

Off to bed….

I literally almost chose this instead of the book I just downloaded to read. It's been in my read again pile for a while now!
Please do choose it! But if you've not read it before, I'd recommend starting with The Hobbit, first. It's a fun, easy read, and sets the stage for the others.

I've read it before but it's been years. I've actually never read The Hobbit though... That should be next on my list.
