What Book Are You Currently Reading?

I've been plowing thru a book or 2 a day since stuck in bed post surgery.
nothing really memorable just filling time.

Reading 4 right now

Dr Sleep - Stephen King
Devil Bones - Kathy Reichs
A Field Guide to Gettysburg - Reardon & Vossler (going there end of month)
If the North Had Won the Civil War - Andrew Heller, An alternate, alternate history (written from the perspective that the south had actually won)

A collection of short French detective stories. I'm really liking it! I definitely need to take some notes for future authors to read. I was kind of surprised by their choices to represent Maurice Leblanc, though, since I feel that they picked one weak story and one good one, but I'm not an editor, so I don't know. I still have to get all the Lupin stories and read through them in their entirety. It's just annoying that it's not easy to find a full collection like it would be for Sherlock Holmes.

Oh, poor you... I hate VBA...
I actually enjoy it, but I'm special (in the head). Almost all the reports I do now are written in VBA. I've learned from trial and error, and Google, but I'm always wanting to get better and faster at it. :)

The Atlantis Gene by Albert G. Riddle
I have that, but haven't started it yet.

Beautiful Distraction by JC Reed is next up on my kindle app.
I've been plowing thru almost 2 books a day around meds & sleeping.

I'm between books. Next on the hit parade is either "Alice in Wonderland" or "The Scarlet Pimpernel". Not sure which one yet.

I was just delivered a stack of new textbooks to review: American Government and European History. Five books, and about 9 inches high. By June. No reading for pleasure for me for a while.

picking up my hold at the library tomorrow:

The Man Who Knew Infinity: A Life of the Genius Ramanujan

I want to read it before I see the movie.

A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather than Nothing by Lawrence M. Krauss
