What does everyone like to do for fun? What do you do with friends? What are some fun things you do with your SO or family? or just what do you like to do when you have some free time to yourself?

poker. i was fortunate enough to find a way to make a living at something i actually enjoy. it's both my way to spend spare time and my career.

as far as family goes... i'd rather do just about anything than find a way to increase the amount of time i spend with most of them.

outside of that, when i'm doing something that has no money involved, i'm cycling.

I'm not sure if I'm familiar with this thing you guys call 'free time', but when I find myself with nothing to do, I come here (even when I do have stuff to do), I write, and I read a little.

Okay, the short simple version, someone takes a box that contains stuff from other people who have found it, put's it out somehwere, using a GPS locates it's aprox. lat and long. goes online, posts it, either jsut the lat+long. or sometimes give clues as well. The next person to find it opens it, puts somehting in it, write down there name and date on a little note-book inside, and then hides it somewhere, finds the aprox. lat./long. goes online....

and that's geocaching... did it a couple tiems.... it's interesting to see what people have put inside em.

But i personally spend my free time hanigng out wiht friends normally. Rcently i go to the movie theatre were a friend works.... she gives me a staff ticket to what ever movie I want to see, ((w00t! free movies on a the biggest screens of all!!!!))

Lots of Cachers in here, if we were all close, we could plan Lister/Cacher event. I play hockey, golf, make furniture, snowboard, play with my dogs. But most of my time lately is taken up by remodeling my house.

What do you do with friends?My friends and I are Shakespeare junkies. We've been known to take mini-vacations just to see plays.

What are some fun things you do with your SO or family?I volunteer at my kids' school and I do the soccer mom and gymnastics mom thing. It's probably more fun for the kids than it is for me, but I still enjoy it. We'll do more fun things when the youngest kids are a bit older.
