I haven't had a drink in years. My oncologist told me that I could have a glass of wine every now and then. I'll pass on that because I don't care for wine.

I was a fairly moderate drinker. I only got drunk once. I was bet $50 that I couldn't drink a fifth of Hennessy. I won the $50 and back in th 70s that was a nice piece of change. However, we didn't make to the party and I didn't make it work the next two days!

That Hennessey is some real shit.. I've had a few encounters with it in the past, never quite remember them though.

It takes forever for me to get drunk (a rare feat) but I've accomplished that today

50 dollars back then was probably like 500 today (I don't know much about economics so I don't have exact statistics)

I'm not surprised at all by that lol

Well and hour in I had so many whiskys on the table In front of me the barman offered me a pint glass to put them in. It filled the glass.

I was bet £100 I couldn't down the lot and still be cohesive in an hour. I did and walked out £100 richer.

To this day, I still can't remember how I got home. Or the next day.

What made it worse is that I forgot to call in sick. An hour after school started, my principal called. After I told him what happened, he laughed and told me to take the next day off too. Until then, I'd never felt that bad.
