I wish it was easier for me to make friends and be social.

Even though most of the time when I send a random PM, I get a response and some of the time I make a new friend but it is hard for me to think of something to talk about and it is even harder for me to click send.

Just a random thought.

I am happy I have the friends I already have here :)

Just keep being yourself. That's the very best attribute, and you seem very nice and kind.

If someone doesn't want to take the time to return a message or seek you out after you've talked a few times, that's on them...not you.

That's all I try to be even though I'm not the biggest fan of who I am. I do work constantly on being the best version of myself. Its's easier said than done.

I have the same problem. I bet lots of others do too. You do seem like a nice guy - sometimes people who don't make friends easily wind up having better friends - quality, not quantity! :)

I try to make an effort to be nice to everyone (unless I don't like them)

But thank you! :) I don't think I've ever seen you around here (maybe I have but I don't have the best memory) but you seem nice as well and I do love the quote in your signature. It's something I need to work on.

I agree, quality is best :)

It'll come. You're a very affable guy, fun and good-natured. This is the place for it to happen, as for the most part people here are kind and supportive, and I can't imagine people wouldn't take to you.:)

I appreciate that. You are a fun and good natured person as well :) This is such a great place to visit and I'm happy I stumbled on to this site. It is probably my favorite place on the Internet.

There are a few bad apples here but thankfully this site has far more good people than bad.

I have a feeling my username may be a reason people don't take to me if who I message doesn't take the time to look at my profile and check out my posts lol

I like your user name, after all, this is a porn site:)

I was just meandering around, and I think one of the things that keeps me at bay is seeing an interesting thread that I feel like posting in, and everybody's talking back and forth, which is fine - I love the interplay in the threads. But if it goes back a long way, then I feel like even posting about the original subject matter would seem like butting in, and I usually just leave. It can be like a party where you don't know anybody, but everybody's talking to each other.

I think the psychology here is just to go out and play. You get a feel for people and they get a feel for you. I was on a site where almost nobody would talk to new people (not just me). This place is wonderful. It's friendly, and even the trolls are pussies.

Best wishes with everything you'd like to find. I think you'll find it.

I know this is a porn site and I like my username as well but I think it gives the impression that I can't offer any other conversation that isn't sex. Which is far from the truth.

I feel the same way, seeing a thread with other users having an in depth conversation can keep me away. I'm not one to interrupt people when they are talking in real life and I'm the same way here. The last thing I want to be is rude (unless I feel they deserve it)

That makes sense, I haven't been here very long but I'm slowly leaving my mark here since I've been interacting in the threads rather than staying in the shadows. I realized I wasn't going to make any friends that way. I haven't encountered any trolls yet but I have made an enemy or two (I don't go out looking for enemies but it happens I guess)

I am the same way,, I like the threads here, but I also don't want to but in...sometimes their very funny or interesting. That's why its fun for me to play the games, I enjoy those.

I hope so, because I often feel like I get skipped over, like others mentioned on this thread (not by you !)...lol But I know I'm ok with a lot of you here ;) That's what makes this place special.
